Life, with the garden

In this city, that feels like so many cities wrapped up into one,
I am sitting on a grey log. Grass is waving behind me on a constructed rocky knoll and the sun keeps peering through the clouds. Flickering shadows in front of me, the grass playing with both light and wind.
I was here eight months ago, in the botanic garden in Berlin. What was churning in my mind then? I do not remember. More than that I liked the garden. And now, the grass smells nice.
Today, my mind is slow. I arrived with the night train this morning, I have barely slept. The only thought that fits: I can hear the bees. The wind in the trees. I choose to ignore the sound of the cars. They are far away. This garden is big.
