My friend Cecilia is the most committed Harry Potter fan I know – so there wasn’t really any other choice when deciding on a theme for the mittens I wanted to make her.
Cecilia has two dogs: Embla and Hasse. Embla is sweet, very loyal and with a lot of integrity. Hasse is social and charming, but a bit crazy – which sometimes results in unfortunate accidents.
Cecilia also has an incredible garden, full of dahlias and other beautiful flowers.
So this is what I ended up making: A flowery Hedwig-Embla and Dobby-Hasse pair of mittens for Cecilia!
