Jessica’s master’s thesis was about the mackerel conflict in the North Atlantic, so I made her a jumper with mackerel on. Serendipitously, the Sunday after I finished it turned out to be the most beautiful day of winter, so we simply walked down to Brunnsviken from our shared student flat and I photographed her in the frosty February morning sun.
