I used some donated hand-spun wool yarn to make a gardening jumper for dad’s 60th birthday. It got quite big, because it is really hard to judge the right size when you’re knitting, especially if you can’t have the intended wearer try it on a couple of times throughout the process. Nevertheless, he liked it.
