My wool slippers. Photographed on my balcony, among the cucumber plants, nasturtium, clematis, sage and marigolds. It was finally spring and I had so many knitting and crochet projects that had been ready to be photographed since autumn and winter – but then March 2020 came and collaborative photo sessions with Natalia became logistically impossible. So I poured my creative energy into the balcony garden instead. Building, painting, planting. In July, I started harvesting tomatoes and forest strawberries – in hope that autumn and winter would come with a world slightly more allowing for collaborative creativity and handcrafting.
