In 2009, in a cute store in Cochabamba in Bolivia, I bought a whole bunch of yarn. Many years later, I used the yarn to make this cardigan for myself. And then, even more years after that, I asked my friend and colleague Ashley to walk down to the lake during our lunch break to photograph me in it.
It was a really comfortable cardigan, loose and soft and I ended up wearing it in the office. It was so easy to just put on when entering one of the draftier rooms in the building. But the yarn turned out to not be of very high quality, and holes started to wear through. It needs mending in several places now. I will do it. Some day. It’s just so much more exciting to design new things!
