ABOUT

I tell stories. Here are some about me.

I knit mittens and other wearable things, mostly for people who inspire me. I collect botanic gardens. A capuchin monkey named Baby once tried to brush my teeth. I love reading books and watching TV shows that take me to other worlds and other times. I have a thing for odd-looking trees.

I am also a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Bergen, Norway. My research focuses on biosphere reserves, landscape stewardship and how to apply resilience thinking in practice. I like to explore creative ways to weave different kinds of knowledge through dialogue and art.
