Since I last wrote anything here, I’ve returned from California. I jumped right back into work, where my new role as a research assistant gave me access to new forums. New places to find inspiration, especially the workshops and speed talks about science communication and the Sustainable Development Goals. I really want to get this new blog started.
I’ve been waiting for the perfect title to come to me, though. The blog needs a new look, a new focus, and the most important part of that is a new, pithy title. But it won’t come. Probably because I’ve also been so busy with my actual job (the one that doesn’t only involve all the fun and fascinating extracurricular activities that Stockholm Resilience Centre provides). I’m digging through West African national survey data, drowned under a mountain of scientific papers. I’m so tired at night. No energy left over for word playing.
But it’ll come. Eventually. In the meanwhile, let me tell you a little bit more about California.
